So as well as four best bets each Saturday from our team of experts, we’ve also recruited some outside help. A highly successful racing analyst has agreed to share the bets from his model. This quantitative approach has made a strong PoT on almost 3000 bets since 2020. You can choose to back them individually, include them in multis/quaddies or ignore them altogether and just focus on the four hand-crafted bets.
The Quant
Instead of doing hours of form for any one meeting, the quant bettor has put in hundreds (if not thousands) of hours in developing a model that consistently beats the market.
Advanced mathematical models and quantitative analysis is used to find value selections. The quant mines historical data such as sectional and par times, benchmark race and horse ratings, trainer and jockey strike rates and many other form variables to identify profitable opportunities. Algorithms are then developed to profile horses that the market tends to undervalue.

Official results will be recorded at Best of the Best (win) and mid-tote (place).

Where possible, bets will cover Group 1 and premium races and meetings. However, our racing analysts are professional punters who don’t bet in every race: their aim is to make money, so they go where the value is. Therefore, some bets may be for other meetings on the same day… it’s all about prioritising profit.

What You Need
