It’s just gone round 9 in the AFL and round 11 in the NRL, so we thought we’d take a look at how the two footy betting packages have performed this season.
AFL Tips
2016 was a huge year for Daniel and Stephen with over 100 units profit, which was always going to be a tough act to follow.
But we’re pleased to report the boys are making a decent fist of it!
After nine rounds of the home and away season (plus the pre-season), the package sits at a healthy 25.6 units profit, at 13.6% PoT.

After a slow start throughout the pre-season and the first couple of rounds, the boys really hit their straps in round 3, delivering 24.1 units profit on that weekend alone. A couple more hiccups have followed, but so have some further big weeks to keep things travelling along into a solid position.
The year-to-date numbers by round are yet another lesson on variance:

After round 2, things were looking slightly disappointing at 22.2 units behind the eight-ball. Of course, those with the recommended 100 unit bank and a long-term outlook weren’t too concerned, and the package has produced 47.8 units profit in the seven weeks since to have us in an impressive year-to-date position.
Season-to-date: 25.6 units profit, 13.6% PoT
Biggest single win: Round 7, Sydney vs Brisbane: Sydney over 50.5, 7 units @ $1.94 for 6.6 units profit.
NRL Best Bets
The path of Steve Green’s 2017 season has been somewhat similar: a slow start, some relatively small losing weeks, but some big winning weeks pushing us into a solid profit position year-to-date.
After eleven rounds (plus the Auckland Nines and Rep Round), Steve has worked his way to 8.2 units profit at 7.5% PoT.

And like the AFL, variance has played it’s part but the importance of the long-term view is again highlighted, with the wins outstripping the losses. Steve has built a solid base on which to launch into the remainder of the season.

Season-to-date: 8.2 units profit, 7.5% PoT
Biggest single win: Round 9, Warriors v Roosters: Warriors H2H, 3 units @ $2.12 for 3.4 units profit.
AFL Specials
Last of all, don’t forget our new AFL Specials package!
This is a separate AFL package monitoring AFL side markets: player props and quarter and half-time scoring markets. It’s run by Brett and his team, the data scientists behind our hugely successful AFL and NBA Platinum packages which have profit capabilities in the hundreds of units per season.
PRICE CUT
Now that we’re well into the year, our season passes for both products have been cut to deliver you more value should you wish to join for the rest of the year. Monthly memberships are also still available.
