The Inglis Race Series has been given some big boosts in recent years. It’s a series of events across the racing calendar that are open only to horses sold through the Inglis sales ring (where owners pay for the race series upon horse purchase). One of the major events is the Inglis Sprint.
The Inglis Sprint is a three-year-old race held at Randwick Racecourse over 1200 metres in early February, on the same day as the $2 million Inglis Millennium for two-year-olds. With a $1 million prizemoney purse, the race attracts a big field of quality three-year-olds.

Inglis Sprint 2020
After a massive Sydney downpour and subsequent raceday cancellation, the 2020 Inglis Sprint was run at Warwick Farm the following Wednesday alongside the $2 million Inglis Millennium for two-year-olds. Patrick Payne’s mare Rubisaki scored a convincing win in the wet conditions. Second went to Greg Hickman’s Rari, while True Detective for Chris Waller ran third.
