Sharks v Knights: NRL Round 4
The Knights 2022 form is being underrated. They were right in the game against Penrith last weekend until the Barnett send off.
The return of Ponga will only make their attack better and although they are now without a couple of front rowers, they have good depth in their forwards, with plenty of options including the return of the versatile and hardworking Brodie Jones.
Sharks are good, but they were made to look great by an inept Dragons last week. Some of those tries the Sharks scored were simply the result of weak defence.

When you look at the defence of these two teams to date, it is the Knights that have a defensive line that has proven very hard to crack. They have the least missed tackles in the NRL (with 49 for the season), whereas the Sharks have the second most with 106. The Knights are also fourth-best for errors made, whereas the Sharks are sitting middle of the competition in ninth-best.
If the Knights can keep playing controlled footy and defend like they have been, then with the attacking class of Ponga, Best, Gagai and Clifford, I think they win this one and send a signal to the rest of the competition that they are a genuine dark horse.
