Trev’s back with his Moonee Valley Quaddie tips for this Saturday.

After an $80 winner ruined his Quaddie in the final leg last week, we’re hoping for a change in fortune this time around.

Race 7 – Embassy Print Solutions Sprint (1000m)

#2 Miss Leonidas (Shaun Dwyer / Dwayne Dunn)
Good win two starts back at Ballarat, then good with an inside run at Flemington. Quick backup.

#4 Flying Krupt (Phillip Stokes / Regan Bayliss)
Lightly raced filly which ran well first-up. Can hold rating here.

#5 Layel (Mick Price / Michael Walker)
Big win at Sandown over 1200m. Back in trip here but still has claims.

#8 Stylish Missile (Ciaron Maher / Liam Riordan)
Freshened up here, drawn out but has claims if fit.

#9 Cath’s Village (Darren Weir / Chris Parnham)
Racing well, won past two starts. Can hold rating here.

#10 Cherief’s Choice (Robbie Griffiths / Jye McNeil)
Returns similar figures each start. Has claims if repeats that here.

Race 8 – GJK Facility Services Plate (2040m)

#1 Lite’n In My Veins (Ciaron Maher / Liam Riordan)
Won well last start first-up at this trip. Can hold rating here.

#5 Raw Impulse (Darren Weir / Craig Williams)
Not much luck last start when caught wide. Fifth run back now and should be nearing peak fitness. Produced peak rating fifth-up last prep.

#6 My Nordic Hero (Chris Waller / Michael Walker)
Raising consistently. Past two runs solid, only has to hold rating here.

#8 Have Another Glass (Sue Jaensch / Dwayne Dunn)
Produced solid figure two starts ago at similar trip. Back in distance last start and ran on well. Back to 2040m which should be to advantage.

Race 9 – Bidfood Travis Harrison Cup (1600m)

#1 Amovatio (Chris Waller / Damien Oliver)
Racing okay. Steps to mile first time this prep, will be running on if track allows

#4 Akavoroun (Ciaron Maher / Liam Riordan)
Solid effort on pace last start at third run back from long spell. Should be fitter again now.

#9 Mihany (Hayes & Dabernig / Liam Riordan)
Racing honestly, gets in well with claim. Has raced well here in past. Can improve.

#10 Magic Consol (Paul Preusker / Craig Williams)
Raced consistently and had no luck last start when caught on worst ground. Had a month between runs, can improve here.

#12 Sixties Groove (Darren Weir / Regan Bayliss)
Not a lot of luck having first start for Weir off long spell. Can improve here.

#13 Tatoosh (Will Clarken / Jamie Kah)
A new horse since the change of stable. Terrific win last start. Only has to hold rating here to be horse to beat.

Race 10 – Epworth Medical Imaging Sprint (1200m)

#2 Despatch (Tony McEvoy / Fred Kersley)
Surprisingly heavily backed last week down straight. Better suited here around the corner at 1200m.

#4 Sam’s Image (Peter Morgan / Luke Nolen)
Produced career best two starts ago at Caulfield, then no luck last start coming off short break when caught wide. Drawn better here.

#5 Bel Sonic (Jason Warren / Ben Melham)
Ran terrific first-up, running best last 200m of the day. Will get back here and will be powering home.

#7 Grey Shadow (Darren Weir / Jye McNeil)
Produced terrific figure three starts ago at Caufield. Last time missed start at Caulfield and flew home, would’ve won race. Can repeat that rating here.

#8 Eagle Ridge (Michael Moroney / Patrick Moloney)
Produced good win first-up, and that race has produced multiple winners. Not suited second-up. Can run well here at odds.
