FOCUS has run well twice since being shipped North from the Goldie, he’s obviously enjoying the new surroundings. Won his Maiden two starts back and while he had every chance, the lines and margins are strong. Last start he had no luck after being a half-length slow out and then getting shuffled back further than would’ve been intended, was a pretty good effort to dive late and only be beaten a neck by the odds on favourite. It was a much better run than KARBORS who lines up again here. Other market runners have key negatives that don’t enthuse, but with respect to the resuming three-year=old LOCKDOWN LADY.
